Tabla gives rhythmn to the music and belongs to khyal Indian Classical music style.There are two types of drums Bayan(left) made of 3kg copper and Dayan(right) made of tun or neem wood.The drums have goat skin with thick black disc, which is tuned for the emission of proper musical notes. For tuning tabla, a metal hammer is being provided.

Dholak
Dholak is played in indian festivals, occasions and for singing folk songs. These are double sided wooden drums with either rope or screw fittings. It is also played in "Qawwalis".
Garba Dhol
During Raas Garba,a famous festival of gujartis ,garba dhol is being played to celebrate.These are decorated double sided wooden drums with rope or screw fittings and available in leather or plastic heads.
MidangoOr Kachhi Khol
Midango is made of clay or metal with leather strapped fittings.This is played for bengali classical music like Rabindra Sangeet and also in bhajans, kirtans.
Pakhwaj
This is a double sided drum made of one piece of shisham or neem wood. The amazing musicality of pakhwaj comes from the expression of bols or specific strikes from one or both ends.
Mridangam
Mridangam is a double sided drum mainly used in south india for "Bharat Natyam", a famous South Indian dance.Its an important ancient instrument and by playing this “Omkaara Sound” can be prduced.
Ghatam
Ghatam is an earthenware pot. Its used in south Indian classical music.Thick wall and light wall-two type of this exists. A combination of Mridangam and Ghatam forms part of Carnetit Music.
Dafli
Dafli is in the form of circular wooden or metal ring with full skin fitted with leather. During Indian Festivals, decorated dafli is being played to celebrate.
